Someone else has the melody.
Now what?

Most lead sheet playing puts the melody in your right hand and accompaniment in your left...

But when you're playing with a singer or another instrument, that approach doesn't quite work.

So what do you play instead?

In this workshop, we’ll shift the focus completely.

You'll use lead sheet chords to build 2-handed accompaniment patterns that support the music... without getting in the way.

Because yes... less is often more.

What you'll explore in this workshop

  • How lead sheets show you what to play... even when you're not playing the tune

  • 2-handed accompaniment patterns built directly from chord structure

  • How to support singers and melody players without overplaying (we've all been there)

  • Why this approach works across styles, settings, and real-life playing situations

How the workshop works

Live Zoom workshop—bring your harp and play along with your microphone muted.

Workshop materials will be sent the day before the event, so you can follow along and
add info as we go.

A replay is included for all registrants, so you can revisit the ideas afterward.

If you register after materials are sent on April 10, you’ll receive the replay and workshop
resources after the event.

Ready to stop guessing what to play?

If you've ever thought:
"Am I doing too much... or not enough?"
"Where do my hands even go here?"

You're not alone. And you don't have to figure it out by trial and error.

This is a simple, practical way to start accompanying real humans… with real music…
that actually works.

Grab your spot and start playing with others—without guessing what to do.
