Then...what?
You could play it again.
Or you could give it somewhere else to go.
That's where expanders come in.
An expander is a short musical idea that can give your tune a beginning, connect one time through to the next, or help it come to a satisfying end.
Maybe you've heard other harpists turn a simple tune into something longer and fuller and wondered how they do it.
This workshop isn't really about learning three separate tricks for intros, interludes, and endings. It's about learning one idea you can use in different places to stretch a tune into more music.
Because you don't need a whole new arrangement to make more of a tune you already play.
You just need more places to go.
